Area of expertise and interest are in the fields of:
– Biologically and pharmaceutical active components: bioactive compounds from natural products (herbs, plants, fruits, vegetables), bioactive compounds from food industry, by-products of food industry and agricultural wastes.
– Green extraction technologies: ultrasound and microwave assisted extraction, high pressure supercritical carbon dioxide and subcritical water extraction.
– Creation of new products in food, cosmetics and pharmaceutical industry.
– Quality assurance and strengthening the reform of higher education.
